Small group gatherings for Middle School students!
What we do:
Ignite Wednesday Nights is a place and an environment for students to make friends! Students spend time each Wednesday night finding out more about each other by playing games and through small group discussion questions. We want students to continue from the large group setting found on Sunday mornings, into a small group setting where they can connect with other students and adult leaders who will care for them.
What to expect Wednesday Night: On Wednesday nights, a large group of middle school students gathers at Good News Community Church. After some fun games (to get the energy out) students break into small groups to go through a set of discussion questions. Each week students meet in the same group, with the same adult leader. We expect some students to come to our church who perhaps have never been in a church before, so the questions are created with that in mind. Students who have never gone to church before can safely engage in the discussion about God, knowing that they don't have to have all the "right" answers. Ignite Wednesday Nights is a place where all students are welcome! Students can have fun, talk about God, and belong!
