Job Opportunity: Children’s Ministry Director

With many exciting things happening now, and more on the horizon, Good News Church is an exceptional place to work and invest in the kingdom. The church has grown by a minimum of 20% every year for the past 5 years and is currently averaging 325 people each Sunday across 3 worship gatherings –on Easter we held 4 worship gatherings and had a total of 546 people. We are quickly outgrowing our current facility and are only months away from breaking ground on an addition to the building.

The church is currently looking for a Children’s Ministry Director to join the leadership team who will expand on the solid foundation we currently have in ministering to kids, ages 0 through 5th grade, both inside and outside of the church.  This half-time staff position (20 hours per week) must be someone who will impact the next generation by providing vision, strategy, oversight and leadership for a small army of volunteers in the Children’s Ministry.  We are not looking for someone who will play with the kids –looking for someone who will lead multiple teams of volunteers in transforming children into Jesus followers… disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love others, and serve the world.
