Why Good News Exists as a Church:
The purpose of our church is based on two key scriptures given by the Lord Jesus Christ:
The Great Commandment: "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
The Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Mission: To be and to make disciples who love God, love others, and serve the world.
Vision: Our vision is to eternally impact 5% of Broomfield in 10 years with the Gospel of Christ. Eternal Impact 5 x 10 |
At Good News Church we just don't care...
Don't care what you wear. Don't care how old you are. Don't care where you're from. Don't care about your rap sheet. Don't care about your bank balance. Don't care who you voted for. Good News is a place where, even though you're not perfect, you don't have to pretend. Good News is a place where everyone is welcome and where normal people meet God. Together we'll help each other grow to be all God intends us to be... disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love others, and serve the world.
