What is your role at Good News Church?
Morning Worship Leader.
I am a vessel for all to use as a gateway to experience Christ. Through music, I create a comfortable and exciting environment allowing God to connect with you and you Him.
What is the best part about your role?
Witnessing others share a moment with God. When I see that, I am reminded why I love leading worship. I forever thank God for the musical talent He has blessed me with.
What event from the Bible would you like to have been present for?
Just the teaching of Jesus is all I would have wanted to see. To be in the presence of such a Being is unimaginable.
If you were an animal, what animal would you be? Why?
Dog. I just think they’re the coolest animal ever. I love my dog Jax.
What do you count as the greatest invention of the last 100 years? Why?
The Panama Canal. The engineering back then is pretty much what they still use today. It was remarkable. I vacationed there so got to see up-close how it all works. It’s crazy.
What is your favorite place on earth?
Right now, uumm. I’d say sitting next to Kelli in our hot tub drinking a beer while watching a ball game.
What makes you laugh?
My nephews and nieces.
What makes you cry?
Seeing babies and children hurting.
If you could be on any reality television show, which one would it be?
Survivor. Be fun and believe I could win.
What hobbies do you enjoy?
Oil painting.
When you think of heaven what comes to your mind?
Grandpa and grandma. I miss them, but I know their fishing and loving it…
