What is the best part about your role?
The people--hands down.

What event from the Bible would you like to have been present for?
The resurrection (Mk 16).

If you were an animal, what animal would you be? Why?
Haha, no idea. Kangaroos seem cool.

What do you count as the greatest invention of the last 100 years? Why?
The Internet. For better or for worse, we’re only at the beginning of how it’s going to affect the human race.

What is your favorite place on earth?
Banff National Park in Alberta & British Columbia, Canada, with my family.

What makes you laugh?
Having fun with my wife and my daughter.

What makes you cry?
Those reflective moments when I see how good God has been to me lately.

If you could be on any reality television show, which one would it be?
I’m not going on reality TV without exclusive editing rights.

What hobby do you enjoy?
Reading and being outdoors.

When you think of heaven what comes to your mind?
Rev 21.4: “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” It’s an amazing promise.

At Good News Church we just don't care...
Don't care what you wear. Don't care how old you are. Don't care where you're from. Don't care about your rap sheet. Don't care about your bank balance. Don't care who you voted for. Good News is a place where, even though you're not perfect, you don't have to pretend. Good News is a place where everyone is welcome and where normal people meet God. Together we'll help each other grow to be all God intends us to be... disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love others, and serve the world.
